New knowledge and innovation are crucial to successfully identifying, addressing and overcoming the increasingly complex health-related challenges that influence the lives of all of us in British Columbia, in Canada, and in countries and communities around the globe.
Team and Translational research is an increasingly important part of the Faculty of Medicine’s research success. Five Centres of Excellence for Commercialization and Research (CECR) were created in 2008 for a total of $75M.
Our faculty members' outstanding commitment to groundbreaking fundamental and applied research reflect not only the strength and vitality of the Faculty's research programmes, but also their national and international importance.
