The Faculty of Applied Science at the University of British Columbia is a place where engineers, architects and nurses work together to contribute to the betterment of our world. Applied Science is in many ways a microcosm of our society, bringing together 11 engineering disciplines, the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (SALA), UBC Engineering, the School of Nursing and the School of Regional and Community Planning (SCARP); altogether an impressive force of excellence in education and research working on real solutions to real problems in the real world.
