UBC Supports its Alumni and Students
Did you know that you can access a wealth of resources to support the volunteer projects you are passionate about? UBC and its more than 300,000 alumni represent many opportunities for assistance – from simply providing access to bright co-op students and other alumni who want to volunteer, to the availability of cool spaces on campus.
Access to Volunteer Opportunities
If you are looking for volunteers – or if you would like to volunteer – our volunteer database is your first stop. It includes volunteer roles with UBC faculties and partners, and accepts postings from community organizations in need of talented alumni with some time to spare.
As well as making use of the volunteer database, you could hire a student intern or co-op student. Unique projects may also lead to partnerships with UBC’s Community Learning Initiative or class teams from the Sauder School of Business. You can also access UBC experts and rent space on campus for meetings or events.
We love hearing from alumni who want to contribute to UBC and the wider community. If you have any questions about volunteer opportunities and want to get more involved, please visit the alumni UBC volunteer opportunities page or contact Christy Mahlberg, Manager, Alumni Engagement, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 604.827.3146
