Why does the music die down after the holidays?

This was the thought that inspired UBC alumni, Steven Ngo and Winnie Ma to establish HUM (Healing Using Music), a non-profit dedicated to using music as a way to bring happiness into people's lives.

At HUM, we provide free music performances to schools and care facilities throughout the year. The vision is to use music as a way to connect people together and to bring happiness into people's lives through performing at schools and care facilities or organizing concerts to raise awareness for charitable causes.

It is often said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. At HUM, our journey begins with a single note.
